Uganda's film industry has always had more raw talent than infrastructure. Cameras and cast are rarely the constraint, the gap sits further downstream: in post-production, in sound, in the reference-quality finish that lets a Ugandan film compete on the same screen as a Hollywood or Nollywood release.
That's the specific problem Quad-A was built to solve, treating audio post as a first-class part of the filmmaking process rather than a rushed final step. As more Ugandan productions started reaching international festivals and streaming platforms through the years that followed, the case for that approach only got stronger: the story can be strong, but if the sound doesn't hold up, the film reads as amateur no matter how good the picture is.
