Privacy Policy
Quad-A Group (“Quad-A”, “we”, “us”) operates www.quad-a.com and, together with its divisions, the Quad A Academy (academy.quad-a.com) and the XP Africa store (store.quad-a.com). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it. We are based in Ntinda, Kampala, Uganda.
1 · Information we collect
- Contact details you send us directly — for example when you email records@quad-a.com, call us, or engage us for a project.
- Academy data — when you apply to or study with the Quad A Academy: your name, contact details, applications, course progress, exam attempts, scores and certificates. Certificates carry your name, course, score and a public verification ID.
- Store data — when you buy from the XP Africa store: order, delivery and payment-reference details (payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
2 · How we use it
- To deliver our services: audio production engagements, Academy training, certification and verification, and store orders.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To meet legal, accounting and partner-reporting obligations (for example with training programme sponsors).
- To keep our platforms secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
3 · Sharing
We share personal information only with: service providers who host and operate our platforms; payment providers for store transactions; training sponsors or examining partners where a course you joined is run with them (limited to what the programme requires); and authorities where the law requires it.
4 · Certificate verification
Certificates issued by the Quad A Academy can be verified publicly by their Certificate ID at academy.quad-a.com. The verification result shows the certificate holder’s name, course and issue details. Contact us if you want a certificate withheld from public verification.
5 · Retention & security
We keep records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we protect them with access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS) and routine backups. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data proportionately to its sensitivity.
6 · Your rights
Subject to Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019), you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to a use of it. Write to records@quad-a.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7 · Children
Our services are directed at adults and trainees aged 16 and above. Where a programme admits younger participants, we collect their information only with a parent or guardian’s consent.
8 · Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
